QA/QC Engineer/Supervisor - Data Centre Project - Mainz, Germany - 6-Month Contract 

Our client is a hugely successful project management consultancy that help global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects. They are currently looking for an Electrical QA/QC Engineer/Supervisor to assist on a Data Centre project in Mainz, Germany.


The role:

The Electrical QA/QC Engineer or Supervisor will manage the general contractor to ensure the highest level of quality and to ensure that QA/QC is being followed in line with the clients expectations. Although your main focus will be at the construction and handover phases, you will support from the design phase all the way through to project close out to ensure you follow the whole project programme.

 
Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • Hold an engineering degree (electrical or mechanical)
  • Previous experience of managing a contractor and other vendors on site
  • Previous experience of supporting large mission critical or industrial projects (data centres preferred)
  • Proven history of leading quality management; managing Cost / Change Control, including change order review, negotiation, & recommendations, delay analysis
  • History of ensuring QA/QC is being followed and reporting any issues/gaps to the appropriate person
  • Construction and project close out experience - Initiate close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance
  • Strong communicator and a history of being client facing / the key point of contact on site
  • Background in Electrical QA/QC
  • Rights to work in Germany or an EU passport
