QA Specialist - Computer Systems Validation - Limerick, Ireland - 12-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities and Requirements: 
  • As appropriate for / associated with Quality System/Quality Program and Area of Responsibility.
  • Computer System Quality
  • Maintenance of all aspects of GMP / CSQ compliance for the area(s) of responsibility
  • Provide guidance, review and approval for all computer related validation documentation.
  • Ensure that existing and new site and QA personnel across the organisation are trained on all relevant aspects of computer system quality.
  • Develop common local procedures for Computer Systems.
  • As policy is set by the Corporate QA organisation, help site consistently interpret and implement the policies across all Computer Systems areas (e.g., IT, Process Automation, Lab Automation).
  • Reports and escalates critical quality issues to the appropriate level of quality management for final resolution.
  • Participate in IT / PA organisations to provide consistency across all Computer Systems areas (e.g., IT, Process Automation, Lab Automation).
  • Attend periodic meetings between Validation Coordinators and Computer Systems QA Representatives from various areas to provide a forum for sharing experiences, discussing issues, and assuring a consistent interpretation of the policies set by Corporate QA.
  • Lead site computer system maintenance activities and compliance of computer system validation/maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with periodic review, change control, deviation, back up and archive, security and other support processes for systems.
  • May hold BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemistry, Engineering or related discipline
