Project Leader - Belgium, Antwerp - Permanent Contract 

QCS staffing are partnered with a leading independent company who combine engineering, design and consultancy services with software and technology to deliver complex projects across the globe. Our client’s projects include those in the Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, FMCG, Infrastructure, Transport and Water sectors to name a few.

Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, security technology and project management to name a few.

To support with these projects and their continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Project Leader in Belgium.

What you'll do:
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams (mechanical, process, automation, EI&A, quality etc.)
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams; plan, budget, monitor and control costs / schedule / risk / quality.
  • Ensure that food & beverage specific regulatory / hygiene / safety / environmental (e.g. HACCP, GMP, food safety) standards are built into designs and execution.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders; manage stakeholder expectations & communication.
  • Manage technical design reviews, vendor/contractor selection, approvals.
What you'll need:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, or related.
  • Significant experience managing projects in the food & beverage industry (preferably in Belgium / EU).
  • Strong understanding of hygiene, food safety, GMP, environmental regulations etc.
  • Experience working with multiple disciplines: process, automation, EI&A, mechanical, etc.
  • Fluent Dutch required; good English.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written), stakeholder management, negotiating skills.
  • Strong in project planning, cost control, risk management
