This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Texas, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Support the project from early design through construction, commissioning, and qualification (C&Q).
- Act as the technical liaison between internal stakeholders and external design/construction partners.
- Review and provide input on engineering drawings, process layouts, and technical documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure constructability, GMP compliance, and alignment with operational needs.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Support resolution of field design issues, RFIs, and changes during construction.
- Coordinate equipment integration into facility design and construction schedules.
- Extensive experience supporting large-scale CAPEX projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or speciality chemical industry.
- Proven ability to work across project phases, especially design coordination and field engineering during construction.
- Familiarity with GMP facility design, clean utilities, and process equipment integration.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to interface with EPCM firms, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience in reviewing and commenting on P&IDs, layouts, design packages, and change documentation.
