Project Engineer - Hauts-de-France - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming French location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.


Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure project objectives/goals/KPIs are clearly defined and agreed.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and the project team to provide a single point of contact for engineering,
    ensuring targets and requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
  • Engage with the project team to verify the have received the correct training (onboarding plan) to ensure studies
    meet standards and expectations.
  • Engage with local and client to ensure site experience and requirements are integrated in the design.
  • Engage with Design Manager to assess impact of changes.
  • Engage with the Construction SHE Lead about safe to start and pre start-up safety review topics.
  • Support the Project Technical Manager in the selection of suitable SHE study contractors.
  • Deliver the require safety studies and identify any required further scopes.
  • Review safety studies carried out by other contractors or vendors (for example ATEX, relief calculations and machinery
    safety, with the exclusion of fire safety), acting as the “intelligent customer”.
  • Share deliverables with the relevant client and project team members for comment and approval to ensure the
    studies are completed to a good level of quality and that their outcome is integrated in the design.
  • Take part in relevant project developments and design reviews to assess and advise on potential impact.
  • Update reviews following close out of actions.
