Program Manager Transportation – Renewable Energy - Antwerp

Responsibilities:
  • Define the right resources required for the program execution (capabilities & capacity & timing), hire and ensure onboarding.
  • Provide strategy and expertise. Lead to global RBM acceleration team, integrate all projects in a project portfolio. Manage the execution of the global project portfolio.
  • Actively follow-up on trends in logistics and connect with Trade Compliance ant Transport Regulations in order to stay up to date with changes in regulations. Share trends, best practices and results, and organise knowledge distribution in RBM in cooperation with the colleagues of Transport & Trade Compliance.
  • Manage the team to stay up-to-date with trends and regulations, to identify issues, develop solutions and provide guidance to management on resolving issues to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and internal policies, ensuring maximum added value (e.g., by maximising import duty savings) and delivering projects within time and budget.
  • Monitor program progression and track added value (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Lead, drive and develop a global process owner organisation for Transport and Trade Compliance for RBM in order to set-up efficient and effective processes and build strong foundations which can be used as blueprint for other business units.
  • Be a challenger in the different global cross-functional teams.
Required skills:
  • Master degree (economics, sciences, …) required with a focus in logistics, supply chain, compliance and/or transportation preferred.
  • 15+ years of substantial direct functional experience in logistics
  • Experience working for a large, diverse multinational is preferred. Experience working in at least an international environment is required.
  • Expertise in project and process management
