Procurement Specialist - US, Ohio - 18-24 Month Contract 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop process equipment datasheets and specifications.
  • Manage vendor RFQs/RFIs, bid evaluations, and procurement processes.
  • Verify compliance of vendor designs with SME and project standards.
  • Act as owner’s representative during construction and installation.
  • Ensure contractor and vendor adherence to engineering and compliance requirements.
  • Support seamless transition from procurement to field execution oversight.
  • Coordinate with engineering, vendors, and field teams to resolve issues. 
Skills and Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with process equipment procurement in pharma.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of engineering design standards.
  • Ability to oversee field execution and enforce vendor compliance.
  • Skilled in bridging procurement and on-site construction execution.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
