Procurement Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Copenhagen, Denmark - 12-Month Contract

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities, including upgrading, expanding, and supporting existing operations. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Planner to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.


Responsibilities:
  • Commercially responsible for defined project packages typically ranging from DKK 10 million to several hundred million
  • Planning and conducting tenders
  • Negotiate with suppliers and close contracts with both Danish and international suppliers
  • Contract Management during execution of the contract
  • Progress reporting and contract management to secure smooth execution
  • Close cooperation and alignment with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Visits to customer and construction sites
  • Cross departmental tracks and process optimisation initiatives

Requirements:
  • Min 5 years of experience within procurement and/or contract management disciplines
  • Education within Architectural Technology, Construction Management or Engineering discipline
  • Ideally you have experience from a project organisation working within construction
  • You have experience working for/with contractors on-site and you know your AB18
  • You speak and write Danish and English fluently
  • Have a high level of integrity combined with a “can-do” mindset always seeking solutions
  • Structured , organised and able to execute in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Outgoing, eager to learn, and ambition to build your career
