This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planner (All Levels of Seniority) to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Louisiana, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Owner verification schedule and coordinate/develop Ops readiness schedule
- Supports review of contractor’s schedule submissions
- Review the actual progress of the work versus the planned work
- Evaluate designers’ and contractors’ detailed schedules
- Able to suggest recovery plan or areas of potential improvement
- Have a strong understanding of typical project logic and flow
- Able to evaluate validate of the critical path based on prior experience
- Able to develop typical project logic and duration based on experience for review by project team
- Evaluate claims and make appropriate recommendations
- Review actual rates and comparison with budget
- Candidates should ideally have a degree qualification or equivalent, in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
- Extensive and relevant experience, in pharmaceutical sector preferred.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Fully conversant with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Fully conversant with the standard forms of contract.
- Understand and be able to apply resourcing to schedule activities.
- Must be pro-active and adaptable.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to set priorities and meeting critical time deadlines.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
