Party Chief (US Waters) - Belgium, Antwerpen - 4 Month Contract

Our client is a world leader in specialised fields of dredging, solutions for the offshore energy market. We are looking for a Party Cheif to work a 4 month contract based in Antwerpen, Belgium.

What you'll do:
  • Determine and install necessary measurement equipment.
  • Measure and process data before, during and after project execution and carry out field checks, according to contractual agreements and specifications.
  • Verify the accuracy of the data and analyse and interpret the data, process the data into a report for presenting and explaining results to Project Management and/or client and start and maintain a database.
  • Analyse functioning of measuring equipment and ensure maintenance, in accordance with the maintenance instructions
What you'll need:
  • Requires extensive experience as a Party Chief in marine or construction environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment.
  • Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
  • Additional experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam.
