Our client is a global bio-pharmaceutical company manufacturing plasma-derived, and recombination therapeutic products, who in turn deliver high-quality medicines that treat people with rare and serious diseases, and we are now searching on an exclusive basis with the client to appoint a Medical Science Liaison to join their busy and rewarding team on a contractual basis for a period of 9-Months.
Responsibilities:
- Leads efforts in recognising, identifying, and integrating KOL relationships in specific therapeutic areas of interest to our client.
- Identifies opportunities for scientific growth and medical evidence in support and/or expansion of current therapies and mutual interest initiatives such as research and continuing medical education.
- Identifies, develops, and manages KOL relationships in support of company objectives and enhancing the company's reputation as a scientifically-innovative industry partner
- Develop in-depth knowledge of product literature and publications (and competitor) relevant to therapy area to high standard.
- Maintains a level of medical-scientific knowledge in an assigned therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s) involving clinical issues related to the company's products.
Requirements:
- Advance Life Science Degree (such as bu not limited to : (Pharmacist, PhD or Pharm D)).
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
- Demonstrable experience in providing MSL-Level support to products or devices in specific therapeutic areas, including KOL development, investigator-initiated clinical trials, publications and educational programs.
- Technical: Expected to be fully conversant with national medical regulations, code of practice, and other national laws and regulations.
- Pharmacovigilance: Fully conversant with AE and SAE definitions, collection, and reporting; post marketing surveillance, and spontaneous reporting; product recall & withdrawal process; and awareness of PTC process and handling.
- Therapeutics: In depth knowledge of product literature and publications (and competitor) relevant to therapy area.
- Strategic: Customer focused; priority setting; effecting time management; and technical learning
- Interpersonal: Strong ethics & values; integrity & trust; presentation & written communication; and effective team-working.
