Mechanical Systems Consultant - US, Ohio - 12 Months Contract 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Systems Consultant to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical oversight during construction, ensuring mechanical systems are installed to spec and design intent.
  • Review submittals, red lines, and RFIs, with a focus on maintaining scope, quality, and constructability.
  • Conduct field inspections, walkdowns, and issue resolution in real-time.
  • Support commissioning and start-up activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external DB teams to drive solutions and maintain schedule.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on mechanical/piping topics, supporting interface with trades and QA/QC.
Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience in mechanical systems construction and oversight on large-scale capital projects.
  • Background in piping, HVAC, utilities, or broader MEP systems.
  • Strong familiarity with P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and construction sequencing.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving field issues and working with Design-Build or EPCM teams.
