Mechanical Project Manager - Switzerland, Zurich

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Mechanical Project Manager. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.  

Responsibilities:
  • Managing HVAC & Cooling Systems – Overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of high-capacity cooling solutions to maintain optimal temperatures for data centre operations.
  • Coordinating with MEP Teams – Working closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the facility.
  • Ensuring Compliance & Safety – Ensuring all mechanical installations adhere to industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations, including ASHRAE and ISO requirements.
  • Budgeting & Resource Planning – Managing project costs, procurement, and subcontractors, ensuring that materials and resources are effectively allocated throughout the project life cycle.
  • Overseeing Commissioning & Testing – Conducting system validation, performance testing, and troubleshooting mechanical components to ensure operational efficiency and reliability before handover.
