Materials Handler - Concord, North Carolina - 12 Month Contract

We are seeking Material Handlers to support sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing by handling materials, transferring items into classified cleanroom areas, and performing critical cleaning tasks. Team members must follow strict procedures to maintain compliance, cleanliness, and safety in a GMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive inbound shipments and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Inspect materials for damage, labelling errors, and shipment integrity
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of GMP materials from dock to CNC areas through airlocks
  • Maintain dock cleanliness
  • Unload pallets of syringe tubs.
  • Place tubs onto the assembly line to support continuous filling operations.
  • Inspect tubs for damage and verify labelling.
  • Clean and prepare items per SOPs before transferring into classified areas.
  • Follow aseptic techniques and documentation requirements.
  • Use proper PPE and pass-through protocols.
  • Perform routine and deep cleaning of cleanrooms and equipment.
  • Use approved cleaning agents and follow validated procedures.
  • Wear enhanced PPE and maintain detailed cleaning logs.
Skills and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortably wearing full PPE and working in cleanroom environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment.
