LMF Specialist - 7-months contract - China

Quanta are pleased to be supporting on an exciting new build Pulp project working with a leading developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services.

We are looking for a Limemud Filter Specialist to assist across the start up and commissioning of the plant.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting and carrying out both commissioning planning and tasks in accordance with Commissioning Managers schedule
  • Before commissioning several preparative actions need to be taken by the project manager in which the commissioning engineer will support.
  • Ensure site control documents to be prepared by commissioning manager & engineer.
  • Site control documents are below:
    • Commissioning and start-up schedules
    • Site organisation
    • Commissioning and start-up plan (when needed)
    • Information about sub suppliers (manuals of equipment)
    • Check-out and start-up documents
    • Risk analysis
 Commissioning Tasks:
  • Installation checking
  • Cold testing of instrument, control/safety system and electrical equipment
  • Final checking of installation works
  • Functional tests (P&I diagrams, sequences, interlocking, alarms, limits)
  • The process simulations (water runs)
  • Start-up of equipment
  • Finalising hot commissioning procedures
 Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar position for limemud filters.
