Lead Project Scheduler - US, North Carolina -12 Month Contract
 
Do you want to work at a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer? If so, this is the assignment for you!

Our global client with manufacturing facilities in Southern Ireland, is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-generation processes to produce OTC and Oral Care Products that are distributed throughout the Globe. As such, they are looking for an Lead Project Scheduler to join their North Carolina based project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develop initial comprehensive project schedules for activities in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders before project full funding is available.
  • Liaise with EPCM contractor and transmit schedule requirement from the beginning of the project
  • Coordinate with the EPCM contractor to integrate their construction schedules with activity schedules.
  • Ensure schedules are realistic, detailed, and aligned with project objectives and timelines.
  • Collect data on schedule on level 2 to be able to benchmark schedule at the end of Basic Design
  • Conduct Audit Gate 3 for the initial project schedules prior to funding requests.
  • Assess the feasibility, risks, and accuracy of EPCM contractor schedules.
  • Prepare and present audit reports for senior management, including recommendations for schedule improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
Desirable Experience:
  • Must have Experience with Primavera P6
  • Scheduling and planning experience on a large pharmaceutical projects
  • UNDERSTANDING OF KEY PROJECT MANAGEMENT DELIVERY PROCESSES:
  • Expert knowledge and experience of Cost Management, Commercial Management, Contract
  • Management, and Project Management.
