Lead Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate - Ireland, Dublin - 11 Month Contract

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Lead Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Lead/Guide team members to support on floor manufacturing of pipeline products on a shift rotation
  • Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to the rest of the production team
  • Operate equipment according to electronic batch records, sampling plans and standard operating procedures. 
Desirable Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Process engineering. 
  • Requires extensive Biotech Industry (bulk manufacturing of pharmaceutical or biological components) 
  • Experience of Upstream and Downstream Unit Operations for mAb manufacturing within depth knowledge of key unit operations.
  • Familiarity with Emerson DeltaV, Pas X, and the use of Automation in a Proficiency in various Single Use technologies in a manufacturing environment.
