Lead Electrical Design Engineer - Data Centre Project - Zürich 

Our client is a leading design and engineering consultant specialising in innovative solutions for a wide range of industries. They are currently focusing on technically complex and mission-critical facilities such as data centres. Their commitment is to deliver high-quality projects that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Electrical design from concept till detailed design stage
  • Managing and delivering electrical work packages in multiple projects
  • Managing and guiding more junior electrical engineering colleagues
  • Identifying scope, design, and management objectives, ensuring project documentation quality
  • Writing technical specifications, reports, and assisting with project cost and risk assessments
  • Cultivating and maintaining vendor relationships for professional development
  • Evaluating vendor selection, participating in testing activities, and communicating project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • You will be part of design projects teams as well as construction quality supervision teams

What they are looking for:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical design and installation experience
  • Strong understanding of industry practices and client operation
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities in English and German (preferred but not essential)
