Junior Process Engineer – County Cork – 12 Month Contract – 25-28€ per hour

Are you looking for a step into the Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical industry? Have you got 1-2 years industry experience? Our client, a global Biopharma client are looking for fill their recent Junior Process Engineer vacancy.

The Engineer will work as part of the core Process Engineering team supporting operational activities and business projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door and make a strong start to a career within Life Sciences.

Junior Process Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical engineering support to Drug Substance Manufacturing process and Process Teams including process performance monitoring, troubleshooting and process optimisation
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, drive continuous improvement and process optimisation using tools such as DMAIC, SMED and FMEA.
  • Initiate, develop and implement technical solutions, cost-saving ideas and continuous improvements under the guidance of site change control systems.
Junior Process Engineer Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering / Bio / Pharma
  • Engineering experience in a process development, technology transfer and manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
  • Ready to learn with a positive attitude.
