Responsibilities
- Develop and lead safety processes, activities, and documentation on the windfarm.
- Support and advise on-site/off-site management in ongoing safety and monitoring of all companies who visit site.
- Manage and monitor crane and lifting companies performing complex dual lifting operations.
- Ensure high standard of safety and compliance are maintained through SSOW, permit systems, safety reporting and observation schemes.
- Monitor and improve Working at Height activities by ensuring compliance of emergency equipment provision, edge protection, communication channels, dropped object awareness and tool tether discipline.
- Conduct and support site management in regular daily coordination meeting and Toolbox Talks.
- Support electrical team in construction and commission of the site substation as well as supporting commissioning and HV teams in cable connecting activities.
- Full GWOs + Chester Step medical / Level 6 qualification (NEBOSH or degree)
- Must have at least completed 1 wind project through the construction phase.
