Are you a HSE Manager looking for your next contract? Responsibilities:
Client’s objective is to provide a healthy work environment, to promote sound work practices and a healthy lifestyle for everyone involved in their business. QHSE is therefore one of the supportive departments that is involved in all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental matters on their projects, vessels, and in HQ.
As a QHSE manager. your goal will be to bring, together with your team, the safety culture within the organisation to the progressive level on the safety ladder.
Requirements:
- Higher education in a relevant engineering discipline (Bachelor or Master);MSC/MSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanic Engineering, Chemical Engineering OR equivalent through experience OR MSc Degree Safety Engineering, prevention advisor level 1
- Relevant QHSE experience and interested in developing an extended career in the field of QHSE;
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) and/or Basic Safety Training (BST)
- You have a solid experience in people management and team lead
- Knowledge of or affinity with ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 and other QHSE standards and management systems;
- Willing to travel abroad occasionally for short periods;
- Pragmatic, proactive and forward thinking;
- Team player, excellent communication skills, tactful;
- Service oriented and problem solving attitude;
- Critical and analytical thinking;
- Accurate, efficient in organising your work;
- You take initiative in improving, adapting and expanding our QHSE processes and Integrated Management System triggered by new/updated standards, QHSE regulations, client requirements, industry best practices, company processes etc.;
- You assist project teams and supporting departments with their processes and managing their QHSE aspects;
- You communicate important QHSE initiatives and issues to the management team, the project teams and other stakeholders.
