HR Administrator

Quanta part of QCS Staffing, is an award winning international recruitment consultancy, established in 1992. Quanta provide specialist Contract and Permanent recruitment services to clients within the Life Sciences, Renewable Energy and Data IT industry sectors across the EMEA, Americas and APAC regions. We employ over 100 staff at our headquarters based in Berkhamsted, in addition to this we opened a USA office in 2023.

We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator who will provide HR support to the HR Manager – while ensuring strict confidentiality at all times.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Updating HR process documents
• Process maternity & paternity requests
• Letter writing and updating of HR Documents
• Support in maintaining and updating HR Policy (Staff handbook)
• Reviewing and action HR Admin inbox items
• Managing holiday requests and logging sickness
• Raising offer letters, contracts and associated documentation for new starters
• Coordinating the starter and leavers process
• Reports: Monthly sickness, adhoc reports for Board Meetings/ internal use as well as reports to support award applications
• Weekly and Monthly reports for the leadership team

Qualifications and skills:

• HR support experience is paramount, with a Level 3 CIPD qualification minimum
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• An enthusiastic, reliable and flexible team player
• Positive attitude
• An ability to converse with people at all levels of the business
• Organisation and prioritisation skills
• Good IT knowledge, including MS Office skills including Excel, Word
