Health & Safety Manager - Germany, Dresden - 12 Months Contract 

Are you a Health & Safety Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Dresden on an initial 12 month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Health & Safety Manager. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures on-site.
  • Ensure full compliance with German health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as international standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel and ensure effective communication of safety expectations.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and drive root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with project and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Recognised safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, SiGeKo, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit).
  • Requires extensive experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably within the semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of German HSE legislation and best practices.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
