Head of Project Services - Denmark, Copenhagen - 6-12 months contract 

Our client, a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a Head of Project Services to join their new and exciting large-scale CAPEX investment programme. With a mission to provide process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies, this is an outstanding opportunity make a genuine contribution to the bio pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities include:
  • Project Controls execution support: implement/execute the cost and schedule management program for assigned project(s). Support area infrastructure planning efforts at various stages, facilitate development of cost estimates and budgets, and establish reasonable cost and schedule baselines.
  • Change Management / Forecasting: Implement change management practices and appropriately capture associated cost and schedule activities.
  • Reporting: Develop dashboards to communicate cost and schedule performance to teams in real time. Implement a standardised suite of cost and schedule reports that enable senior management to make data driven decisions.
  • Tender development, management, and reward for external service/equipment providers – inclusive of the primary EPC contract.
  • Analysis and Tracking: Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders.
  • Funding Request: Coordinate Project Services team's contributions to development of project funding request
  • Responsible for the Project Services/Governance reporting/structure, cross-functional alignment with all involved parties i.e. general contractors, subcontractors, and support and input to EPC contract administration
Key requirements include:
  • Requires extensive experience and competencies within cost controlling, finance, contract management and risk management
  • Extensive Leadership experience
  • Experience with Large Scale projects within life science is an advantage
  • CAPEX experience
