Harbour Site Supervisor - Gdansk, Poland - Long Term Contract

Do you want to work with a world leader in offshore wind? This opportunity is currently available to a Harbour Site Supervisor to join our client’s newest project based near Gdansk, Poland. They are a long-standing market leader in the industry owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets, offering fantastic career opportunities for all contractors who join.

What you’ll do:
  • Assist the project HSE department regarding harbour site specific issues
  • Management of safety equipment: PPE, climbing gear including keeping record of inventory and keeping track of the use of PPE, monitoring service life of PPE.
  • Site stock management – consumables for the building
  • Authorise all forklift and crane operation onshore and organise availability of crane
  • Daily housekeeping on site and vehicles, general site upkeep management
What you’ll need:
  • Polish occupational health certification (badania medycyny pracy) – client will issue a referral
  • BHP certification - Project's HSE Advisors will recommend a course to be completed prior to the assignment start
  • Candidates local to the Gdansk area & fluent Polish speakers are preferred
  • Initially Monday-Friday schedule with the possibility into moving to 2 week rotations next year
