Formulation SME - Brussels, Belgium - 6 Months Initial Contract 

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Formulation SME to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you'll do:
  • Containment strategy (isolator) and closed transfer assemblies; waste/decon approach.
  • Batch size and vessel selection (single‑use and stainless), hold times, temperature control, and filtration steps.
  • Cleaning approach (single‑use vs. CIP) and multi‑product cross‑contamination controls.
  • Instrumentation/PAT and integration with PCS/EMS; data integrity and alarm philosophy.
  • URS for SUM skids, stainless vessels, formulation control unit, isolator
  • PFDs/P&IDs for formulation trains and sterile filtration
  • Containment risk assessment and cross‑contamination matrix
  • Utility & HVAC load inputs; RDS (classification, flows, gowning)
What you'll need:
  • Requires extensive experience
  • High‑potent formulation (OEB4+) and isolator technology
  • Proven multi‑product changeover strategies
  • Containment and GMP compliance demonstrated at basic design reviews
