Facilities Engineer - Data Centres - Germany

We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a global leader in the data centre sector. They are currently looking for Facilities Engineers to assist within operational data centres in a variety of locations around Germany. 

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair of critical technical equipment.
  • Detect and repair malfunctions in the shortest possible response time (first touch)
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and outside vendors
  • Reporting and follow-up of detected defects, their elimination
  • Daily monitoring of the infrastructure
  • Provision of site management solutions
  • Compliance with the service level agreements (SLAs) agreed in the customer contract
  • Ensuring energy efficiency of data centre operations
  • Implementation of optimisation measures
  • Documenting, Reporting and initiating improvement measures in the event of operational deviations
 
Requirements:
  • German speaking preferred but not essential
  • Electrical/Mechanical background
  • Minimum 1 year data centre experience
  • Open to various shift rotations
