Opportunity to run the engineering department and manage the production setup alongside the Site Manager / Production Manager.
Please note this is a long term position and it would require relocation for the duration of the project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the engineering department
- Plan fabrication methodology together with the Site Manager / Production Manager
- Plan and manage production setup
- Responsible for designing support parts/ jigs and managing sub-contractors for this task
- Plan lift and transport operation together with Site Manager / Production Manager
- Responsible for design lifting /transportation gear
- Coordinate preparation of RAMS
- Responsible to make calculations and drawings for lifting / transportation gear
- Plan 3D surveys for the whole project, coordinate and manager sub-contractor for this task
- Secure tolerance compliance of end product and documentation
- Develop production/warehouse/purchasing documentation according to ERP needs
Qualifications:
- 5 years of work experience in manufacturing, planning or a higher degree and experience with project coordination and/or project management experience
- Large steel constructions, technical drawings, manufacturing processes and project documentation
- Calculation of steel constructions integrity
- Large steel constructions behaviour / flexibility / robustness
- Crawler Cranes and SPMTs
- 3D survey equipment, software and technology
- Team player, Good communication & coordination skills
- Constructive with a positive mindset seeking solutions to all kind of challenges
- English – Fluent in oral and writing.
- Experienced user in AutoCAD, Inventor and similar tools
- Experience with MS Office package
- LEAN experience from shop floor
