Equipment and Utilities Owner - US, Ohio - 12 Months Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Equipment and Utilities Owner to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the client-side owner for assigned equipment and utility systems, including WFI, Clean Steam, RO/DI, process gases, plant steam, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and other black utilities.
  • Lead or participate in construction walkdowns, field inspections, and support mechanical completion and turnover.
  • Actively support commissioning and start-up, collaborating with vendors and CQV teams.
  • Review and validate system installation against P&IDs, submittals, and design specs.
  • Track system readiness and ensure alignment with cGMP, safety, and quality standards.
  • Interface with the DB partner to ensure timelines are met and punch list items are addressed.
  • Ensure documentation packages are complete for handover to manufacturing.
Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience in utilities/equipment ownership, commissioning, or start-up in a regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience with both clean and black utility systems.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, commissioning protocols, and user requirements.
