This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Research and collection of back up information.
- Verifcation of cost, time, quantities and efficiencies.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Address issues or concerns that arise during construction.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Managing project documentation and reporting.
Skills and Experience:
- Requires mid-level experience in construction management with emphasis on reporting, documentations and data processing or experience of other project management. (Pharma project experience preferred).
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology and sequences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to interpret data to identify issues and trends.
- Strong written/verbal communications and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting multiple individuals and prioritize tasks/assignments.
- Knowledge of project management software and tools and ability to learn and adapt to new proprietary systems.
- Familiarity with WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
