We have an exciting opportunity to work with the top supplier of marine and offshore equipment company with over 75 years of experience. Their goal is to offer environmentally responsible and energy-friendly solutions that meet even the most demanding global comfort and safety requirements. For their Oslo location, they are looking for an experienced E&I Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Package Responsible Engineer for electro, instrument and automation packages
- Prepare inquiry documents
- Technical evaluation of tenders
- Monitoring of suppliers
- Ensure that supplier documentation is delivered according to schedule, review and give comments to supplier documentation
- Status and progress reporting of design and production
- Preparation of documentation
- Functional descriptions, IO lists, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, reports and more
- Inspections and testing
- Ensure the package follows the EPMS
- Quality control of project documentation
- Ensure that the document and equipment is in accordance with the requirement and contract.
- Define and clarify all interfaces
- Internal and external meetings
- Attend FAT’s and Inspections
Requirements:
- Fluent English and (preferred) Norwegian, written and spoken
- Bachelor or Master of Science within Electro, Instrument and Automation
- Experience from the Offshore business, ideally with knowledge about HVAC installations
- Team player, positive, people- and result oriented
- AutoCAD, MS Office
- Knowledge of ATEX, NORSOK, IECEx, DNV specifications, etc.
- Ability to seek and find simple and practical solutions for complex problems
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to interact, communicate, coordinate, delegate, follow-up, prioritise and make decisions
- Self-motivated character
