Document Controller - Delft, Netherlands - Permanent Contract 

QCS staffing are partnered with a leading independent company who combine engineering, design and consultancy services with software and technology to deliver complex projects across the globe. Our client’s projects include those in the Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, FMCG, Infrastructure, Transport and Water sectors to name a few.

Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, security technology and project management to name a few.

To support with these projects and their continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Document Controller  in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:
  • Distributing documents to relevant project team members, including generating and issuing document reference numbers.
  • Ensuring consistency of document submissions in accordance with project document control procedures.
  • Ensuring that all project participants have access to the latest documents/drawings through the document management system.
  • Supporting the supply chain in applying information processing processes and providing training to project participants.
  • Maintaining a full audit trail for all documents and ensuring that all issued documents comply with the stated requirements.
  • Keeping track of the review process of a document (status of document under review and recording whether review period is not exceeded).
Requirements:
  • Have good communication skills and will not hesitate to pick up the phone to ask questions
  • Can hold their own in a complex environment with thousands of documents and demanding stakeholders
  • Be proficient in Teams and Sharepoint and have an understanding of what metadata is and its importance
  • Be punctual and have an eye for detail
  • Have knowledge of civil engineering and how projects are run, preferably experience on large scale complex infrastructure projects
  • Have very good command of both English & Dutch (spoken and written)
