Our client, a globally recognized pioneer in Biotechnology, are recruiting for the position of CSA Manager. A leader in the industry, our client focuses on areas of high unmet medical need and leverages its expertise to stride for solutions. This is your chance to join them on their global mission to better the lives of those effected by disease and illness. The project at hand is for the construction of a new build biomanufacturing plant based located on the East Coast.
Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure the construction quality of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works during the project’s construction phase, maintaining compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all CSA construction activities comply with relevant building codes and project-specific regulatory requirements and obtain permitting around excavation and soil activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of CSA works, identifying any quality issues and ensuring they are rectified according to project standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure proper execution of CSA works.
- Review construction drawings and specifications related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural aspects to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Provide expert advice on construction methods and best practices related to CSA works to enhance quality control.
- Document and report findings from site inspections, highlighting areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Extensive experience in CSA construction within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works in large-scale ($300M+) capital projects.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing construction for CSA works.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, permitting, industry standards, and regulatory compliance in construction.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot and address construction quality issues proactively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, working well with diverse teams and stakeholders on site.
- Familiarity with quality control processes, site inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
