Crane Coordinator - Germany, Frankfurt - 12 Month Contract 

Are you a Crane Coordinator looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Frankfurt on an initial 12 month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Crane Coordinator. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage crane operation schedules in alignment with overall project timelines
  • Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and logistics teams to ensure crane availability and readiness
  • Assess lifting plans and ensure proper rigging and load configurations
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, LOLER)
  • Conduct risk assessments and site inspections related to crane operations
  • Ensure all crane operators are certified and trained for specific equipment
  • Monitor crane activities daily to prevent conflicts and delays
  • Supervise setup, dismantling, and relocation of cranes on-site
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and liaise with maintenance teams
  • Maintain accurate records of crane usage, inspections, and incidents
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in crane coordination or heavy lifting operations on large construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of crane types, lifting techniques, and safety standards
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCS, NCCCO, Appointed Person)
