Construction Specialist  - Frankfurt, Germany - 18 Months Contract 

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Frankfurt, Germany. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Construction Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Represent the Senior Leadership team for all aspects of Civil, Structural and Architectural design and work closely with the appointed Engineering companies to ensure design and client requirements are met throughout, construction, commissioning, and subsequent handover on the new facility.
  • Reviewing claims related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural construction activities from various suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality standards, schedules, and budgets within the CSA scope.
  • Applying technical knowledge of CSA construction to evaluate claim validity.
  • Contributing to the onboarding of new suppliers and subcontractors within the CSA field.
  • Ensuring all contract activities comply with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
  • Providing detailed reports to internal management and stakeholders on claim status, contract performance, and project progress within the CSA context.
  • Managing change control processes for supplier deliverables, including procurement actions, within the CSA project scope.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to assess and implement changes.

Key requirements include:
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Previous experience of supporting greenfield build projects in excess of  $300 million
  • Strong experience in earthworks/ underground networks and managing multiple stakeholders locally.
  • Extensive experience in construction management and project delivery, with a strong focus on Civil, Structural, and Architectural projects.
  • Solid understanding of construction operations, work preparation, schedule control, and cost estimation within the CSA industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage subcontractors and project teams.
