This is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
What you'll do:
- Drive construction performance against schedule, productivity benchmarks, and safety standards.
- Monitor EPCM and contractor progress; ensure resources, permits, and materials are available to maintain momentum.
- Lead coordination with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), and CSA SMEs to align discipline execution with Node schedules.
- Provide construction support for commissioning teams during flushing, energization, and verification activities.
- Manage custody and handover of systems from EPCM through to GFD and finally Operations, ensuring readiness is assured at each stage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field (required).
- Certifications: OSHA 30 required; PMP or CM-Lean preferred.
- Requires extensive experience leading construction on large-scale CAPEX projects, with specific exposure to pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, or food/industrial manufacturing.
- Proven record of field execution leadership: workfront planning, RFI/clash resolution, punchlist closure, commissioning support, and custody handovers.
- Strong knowledge of SIMOPS planning, contractor management, and multi-discipline field coordination.
