Building Management Systems Project Manager - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Month Contract 

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Frankfurt. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Building Management Systems Project Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the BMS project life cycle for the new greenfield manufacturing facility, from design and implementation through to commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive BMS project plan, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and timeline adherence, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones
  • Drive program-level BMS works across the entire site, coordinating with various internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, R&D, QA/QC) and external vendors/contractors.
  • Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the BMS infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with automated high-speed production lines for liquid products in injection pens and vials, laboratories for R&D and QA/QC, and controlled storage areas.
  • Manage the integration of a vast network of approximately 60,000 connections within the BMS, ensuring robust and reliable system performance.
Key requirements include:
  • Extensive experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) project management, with a strong focus on large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-faceted BMS projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering greenfield facility projects
  • Extensive knowledge of various BMS platforms, protocols, and integration technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
