Building & Facilities Engineer - Belgium, Brussels - 6 Months Initial Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Building & Facilities Engineer  to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you'll do:
  • Functional layout (airlocks, interlocks, segregation between filling suites), flows for people/material/waste/linen.
  • Structural allowances and maintenance access; removable panels and heavy‑lift/access routes.
  • Fire protection concepts (sprinklers, gas extinguish, smoke extraction, safety routes) and building code compliance aligned to GMP finishes.
  • MEP plant room sizing and routing corridors for clean and black utilities; coordination for clash‑free 3D.
  • Design Basis for architecture & finishes; door/pressure matrix
  • Room Data Sheets (RDS) with classifications and environmental targets
  • Space planning for AHUs, boilers, chillers, compressors; routing corridors
  • Constructability and site logistics inputs (temporary facilities, phasing)
What you'll need:
  • Requires extensive experience
  • Pharma cleanroom design (ISPE principles) and pressure zoning
  • Proven 3D coordination (REVIT/Navis) with low clash rates
  • On‑time gate approvals with stable layouts
