Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a BIM/CAD Lead to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming Nordic location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM/CAD activities on the client side, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.
- Coordinate with other SMEs, as necessary to align project deliverables and standards.
- Oversee the Engineering Partner during the design phase, ensuring adherence to system design standards, clash management review, and module completion and filing.
- Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications prepared by the Engineering Partner to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM/CAD-related issues.
- Continuously improve BIM workflows and processes to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to integrate BIM/CAD into overall project planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM/CAD management within the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
- Expertise in Revit, NavisWorks, and AutoCAD at an advanced level.
- Solid understanding of BIM management principles and workflows.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or willingness to learn new BIM technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing projects is advantageous.
