BIM/CAD Lead - Pharmaceuticals - Ohio- 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a BIM/CAD Lead to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming Nordic location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM/CAD activities on the client side, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.
  • Coordinate with other SMEs, as necessary to align project deliverables and standards.
  • Oversee the Engineering Partner during the design phase, ensuring adherence to system design standards, clash management review, and module completion and filing.
  • Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications prepared by the Engineering Partner to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM/CAD-related issues.
  • Continuously improve BIM workflows and processes to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to integrate BIM/CAD into overall project planning and execution.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM/CAD management within the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
  • Expertise in Revit, NavisWorks, and AutoCAD at an advanced level.
  • Solid understanding of BIM management principles and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or willingness to learn new BIM technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing projects is advantageous.
