Architectural Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - Atlanta, Georgia 

Are you local to Atlanta and looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, are recruiting for a Architectural Engineer  to join their newly assembled team and help contribute towards the development of their next core projects.  


Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that construction work complies with architectural plans and standards, with a particular focus on cleanroom and coldroom specifications.
  • Verify work in place and that inspection procedures are being completed.
  • Manage the filing and tracking of permits, utility approvals, and public notices.
  • Monitor schedule progress, update schedules, and verify work-arounds are on track.
  • Track the procurement progress of owner's equipment and coordinate arrivals with construction teams, especially for cleanroom and coldroom installations.
  • Maintain and update the project risk register.
  • Process requests for information and ensure timely responses.
  • Track field progress and update bi-weekly progress curves.
  • Issue monthly quality reports and ensure adherence to construction quality systems.
  • Manage engineering turnover information.
  • Coordinate Site Acceptance Testing and other commissioning activities with operation personnel for training.
  • Ensure a seamless delivery of manufacturing capacity through effective project closeout and turnover scope.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience delivering large-scale capital projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Specific experience in cleanroom and coldroom design, construction, and installation.
  • Experience in managing field information, schedule updates, construction quality systems, commissioning, and systems turnover.
  • Proven experience participating in cross-functional construction teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on document control.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling.
