Case Study - Andrew Pieri
Andrew joined Quanta in 2017 as our Global
Business Manager. Brought on to help us expand our business area focus and head
up a new team, he enjoys the friendly, open environment in place at Quanta.
Since joining us, he’s been appointed Associate Director of Sales, heading up a
large team that is involved with drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
“I fell into recruitment completely by accident”
With more than 12 years of experience in
the recruitment industry behind him, it’s clear that Andrew is committed to the
industry. Despite this, he never thought he would end up working in
recruitment. Prior to joining Quanta, he spent many years at an oil and gas
recruitment company, working his way up from a recruitment consultant to a
regional director where he managed a large team. At an IT recruitment agency,
he was charged with introducing a new team from scratch. This experience made
him a perfect fit for the role of Global Business Manager at Quanta.
“I was looking for a more positive, autonomous working
culture”
Andrew was looking for a new role within a
supportive work environment where autonomy is encouraged. He says the move to
Quanta has made him feel at home, with a friendly, welcoming environment that
supports both teamwork and individual initiative. With friendly, driven people
who “live and breathe the core values”, the office is a great place for Andrew
to not only learn more about the business himself, but also develop his team to
be industry leaders.
“Quanta places real trust in its team”
The structured training at Quanta gives
team members the skills and best practice knowledge required to perform their
work exceptionally well, says Andrew. The multi-tiered Fast Track programmes
offer not only the training and tools to be successful in your current role,
but also a step up to help you progress into new roles and business areas
within Quanta.
As well as supporting Quanta’s business
growth, Andrew is excited to give his team members support to grow, develop and
excel within the business.
