This facility in Dundalk is a trademark facility which is bringing great attention to the company in the US.
Responsibilities
- Key member of the local site HR team for the company. Will support the local HR strategy execution, ensuring cross functional collaboration as appropriate.
- The role will require liaison with counterparts in the company's corporate to include the highest level of professional representation of the local site Human Resources organisation.
- Support the design, development and establishment of the HR function, ensuring alignment with the vision, culture and strategy of the business.
- Support the design, development and establishment of the TA function, ensuring alignment with the vision, culture and strategy of the business.
- Co-ordinate and implement ‘best practice’ TA policies, procedures and related processes /documentation (including both local and corporate HR requirements).
- Responsible for providing TA guidance/support to business leaders, for example in the following key areas: talent acquisition, pre-boarding, onboarding & employment law compliance.
- Co-ordinate activities to ensure achievement of the site headcount recruitment plan. Work closely with business leaders to develop a comprehensive understanding of resource and structure needs.
- Support the business in implementing a robust and ‘best-in-class’ pre-boarding & onboarding programme for new hires to the site ensuring alignment to the global business.
- Co-ordinate sourcing strategies and implement associated plans for sourcing candidates.
- Provide training to business functions on recruitment system and associated policies and procedures related to recruitment.
- Provide guidance and direction to the business to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of candidates and employees throughout the recruitment process.
- Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with hiring managers ensuring comprehensive job descriptions are in place and associated job specs designed.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or other relevant education with a masters qualification being beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition/Human Resource Management with a well-rounded exposure to all areas of the this discipline.
- Significant expertise in HR systems and processes.
- Strong experience of TA process and systems ideally in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with competency based screening and psychometric testing.
- Proven experience in driving functional and cross function team excellence/business performance.
- Must have a proven track record in a talent acquisition programs within a fast paced commercially focused manufacturing facility ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ideally, experienced in establishing a HR function and large scale recruitment campaign in a ‘greenfield’ context of similar size and scale.
- Extensive experience of HR processes and systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
