Setting Out Engineer - Data Centres - Frankfurt - 6-Months + extensions

Our client are industry-leading builders and contractors with comprehensive expertise across all sectors, including Data Centres and Pharma/Life Sciences. Traditionally they have been a specialist in civil infrastructure, but they are now expanding their M&E offering.  They are now looking for a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer to assist on an exciting projects across Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals and Industrial Projects in Frankfurt.


Responsibilities
  • Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site
  • Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
  • Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
  • Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
  • Overseeing quality control
  • Monitoring health and safety
  • Keeping a site diary
  • Resolving technical problems
  • Working in an office and on a construction site.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in Building Engineering, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Previous experience of working in Germany would be beneficial
  • Experience working on large scale construction projects
  • English Language skills required – German language skills would be beneficial
