Project Manager - Frankfurt, Germany - €75,000-€80,000 - 14-Month Contract 

This is an exciting opportunity for a project manager to join our fast growing client in their Frankfurt based project building a large data centre. The owners are very involved day to day and are looking to hire strong mission critical candidates with rights to work across Europe who would like to quickly progress their careers within a medium sized business.  


Responsibilities: 
  • Ensure appropriate levels of labour and materials are on site on all CRCL projects and ensure all operatives are fully compliant with regard to Health & Safety (H&S).
  • Procurement of materials within specified budget perimeters; ensuring they are delivered to site on-time aligned with the project programme.
  • Ensure sufficient plant & equipment is on-site when required and aligned with the programme and that it is fully H&S compliant
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings & specification.
  • Formulate and implement site Inspection and Test Plans  ensuring quality is maintained throughout the installation.
  • Develop site specific risk assessments and method statements and update during project if required
  • Forward weekly Planned v Actual progress to allow droplines to be incorporated onto the agreed programme.  Progress reports are to be issued weekly including location and dated photographs.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in construction works
  • A background in Data centres, High tech manufacturing, pharma or similar is desirable  
  • Exposure to roofing and cladding envelopes (this can be limited experience of roofing being a small part of a large construction package)
  • Ability to contribute to design and delivery of the work package
  • Previous experience in overseeing quality and planning
  • Experience of managing the programme. Budget control exposure is beneficial but not essential.
  • You do not need experience of engaging and reporting directly to clients, the senior site manager will be responsible for this.
  • EU passport and happy to work all across the EU on different projects after this project
  • Degree qualified construction or engineer background
