OSI PI Project Engineer - Life Science - North East England - 12-Month Contract

Our client is a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing providing process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies.

With continued organisational growth and a considerable amount of investment across the portfolio and capital programme.

They have an extremely exciting opportunity for a OSI PI Project Engineer to form support a new large scale manufacturing facility being built in the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • To perform the following Historian platform support, as part of a cross functional team, ensuring consistency in the application of project standards.
  • Site Historian OSI PI (GMP).
  • Manufacturing Control network and virtualised infrastructure hosting various system including the OSI PI servers.
  • To write/document and/or review and/or approve Site Historian deliverables either in-house, or from system integrators in accordance with GEP/GMP/GAMP, and standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven relevant experience as an OSI PI Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Broad understanding of IT systems and technology implemented within a business context.
  • Knowledge and experience with Automation solutions.
  • Understanding of GEP and good documentation practices for automated systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of adapting to competing deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written skills, including technical authorship.
