Design Manager – Data Centre – Contract – Dresden

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. Design Manager Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and interface with management of the main project disciplines.
• Lead and coordination of internal and external design and engineering partners
• Lead design reviews (e.g. P&ID, 3D-Model)
• Support of the Project Manager within proposal and project setup (Man loader, Project Schedule, Design Change Management)
• Report current and upcoming design status (i.e. schedule and design change management)
• Analyse, organise, prioritise and delegate tasks and follow up of results regarding design and engineering issues
• Optimise design and engineering workflows

About you:

• University degree in automation engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar discipline
• 10+ years’ experience in project execution and design or engineering coordination in a complex industrial EPC environment
• Confident in engineering workflows and principal content (e.g. P&IDs and 3D model development, specification, system and functional description, simulation and calculation)
• Fluent communication in German and English language
• Solution oriented organisation and coordination skills
