CQV engineer - Process equipment - Pharmaceuticals - Seattle - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global biotechnology organization, is recruiting for a CQV Engineer to join their capital project in the Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a CQV Engineer to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout the US. As the CQV Engineer you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately 14,900m2.


Responsibilities:
  • CQV Engineer supporting the current CQV team with the execution activities. Specifically, Process equipment . The engineer will be responsible for driving the field execution, IOC, IOC and final reports.
  • CQV of process equipment including but not limited too; filtration systems, chromatography equipment and consumables, bioreactors, cell culture systems, mixing systems, bioprocessing containers, sterilizers, centrifuges, incubators, biosafety cabinets,.
  • Liaise with all Project Groups (Design/CM/CQV/Automation/Process/SMEs/Ops/Maintenance/PMs) to ensure all Systems are managed appropriately for the Project Lifecycle.
  • Liaise with CQV Document Generation Lead in relation to generation and approval of; DQ/Design
  • Reviews/SLIA/Test Matrices/Risk Assessments/QA Ven. or Assessments/FAT/SAT/CTP/IOQ Protocols
  • Execution of all clean utilities systems and CQV deliverables; FAT/SAT/IOQ

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience including experience with expansion projects
  • Experience working with process equipment including; filtration systems, chromatography equipment and consumables, bioreactors, cell culture systems, mixing systems, bioprocessing containers, sterilizers, centrifuges, incubators, biosafety cabinets,.
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  • Experience within process equipment within the pharmaceutical / biotech industries
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
