New research from Investors in People (IIP) has found that 47% of employees in the UK are considering changing jobs in 2018, a decrease of 12% compared to last year. Of these, almost 1 in 5 are actively seeking a new job.

The 2018 job exodus trends report found that 1 in 4 of those surveyed are unhappy in their current job. Poor management (49%) was the top reason given by workers for not being happy in their roles, an increase of 7% from last year. This was closely followed by pay (40%) and not feeling valued by their current employer.

When asked what the most important qualities they look for from a new employer, competitive pay (57%) and enjoyable work (50%) came out on top.

If you’re considering a change, we have some fantastic contract and permanent opportunities available throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
